Senior Test Engineering Manager Job Description

As a Senior Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers to develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for server and rack products. Your primary goal is to ensure the highest quality standards are met while meeting project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably with a degree in an engineering discipline. They should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a server, rack, or manufacturing environment, with knowledge of SAP and Linux systems.

You will be expected to manage and mentor your team to improve their skills and capabilities. This includes providing technical guidance on process improvements and introducing new projects. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to implement and maintain the test program, ensuring seamless integration with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the test engineering team to conduct all activities related to server and rack products
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and maintain the test program
  • Provide technical guidance on process improvements and introduce new projects
  • Assist operations in solving and improving production-related technical or process issues
  • Conduct training for team members to enhance their skills

Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a server, rack, or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of SAP and Linux systems
  • Good understanding of testing methods and concepts
  • Knowledge of programming and debugging skills
