AlphaGrep, a cutting-edge trading firm, is seeking a seasoned Quantitative Researcher to join its mid & high frequency trading/analysis teams. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and refining profitable trading strategies in collaboration with a world-class group of researchers.

Job Description

As a quantitative researcher, you will leverage your expertise in writing high-quality numerical code and applying tick-level data analysis to drive strategy decision-making. You will work closely with the team to develop and refine strategies applicable to the financial markets and analyze their performance.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify opportunities for growth and profitability through innovative approaches to market microstructure and liquidity. You will also collaborate with colleagues to advance existing research initiatives and explore new avenues for quantitative research and trading.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate a proven ability to develop new, profitable Quant trading strategies, as well as a solid understanding of relevant market trends and developments. A robust working knowledge of market dynamics, particularly in regions or coverage areas, is essential.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of developing successful trading strategies
  • Advanced research skills, including machine learning and high-performance computing
  • Strong programming skills, including Java, C/C++, and/or Python
  • Masters or PhD in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, or related quantitative disciplines
