Job Description\

As a senior financial expert, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and analysis of financial data. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and reviewing comprehensive financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conducting thorough analysis of revenue, expense, liability, and other financial data to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Developing and implementing financial forecasting models to support budgeting and investment plans.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate tax payments, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Leading internal audits and enforcing adherence to established financial policies.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial accounts through meticulous reconciliation.
  • Providing critical financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborating in the development of robust financial policies and procedures.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to drive business growth.
  • Supporting statutory audits and addressing any audit-related issues.
\Required Skills and Qualifications\

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, accompanied by an excellent academic record.
  • Professional certifications such as ACA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
  • At least three years of experience in group financial accounting, preferably within the shipping, logistics, or maritime sectors.
  • Previous auditing experience is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance principles.
