Job Summary

E M SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to join our team. As an Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading internal audit assignments, designing audit programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of business processes and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Internal Audit Assignments
    • Design and implement audit programs to evaluate the effectiveness of business processes and internal controls.
    • Perform internal audit work, including follow-up of past audit issues, and gather evidence in accordance with the approved audit program.
    • Identify corporate governance, internal controls, and business process improvement issues for initial discussion with appropriate process owners and management personnel.
  • Evaluate Business Processes and Internal Controls
    • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and related risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Document and Report Audit Findings
    • Document accurate audit work performed and audit results in a clear and organized manner, supported by audit evidence for review by Team Leader.
    • Resolve review notes and apply learning to future assignments.
  • Collaborate with Team Members
    • Collaborate with team members to identify, develop, and draft comprehensive audit observations and recommendations for process improvements.
    • Assist Team Leader in finalizing audit findings, recommendations, and reports, and collate management responses and action plans to mitigate risk.
  • Contribute to the Development of the Annual Internal Audit Plan
    • Contribute to the development of the Annual Internal Audit Plan using a risk-based approach.
Requirements
  • Education
    • A bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized university or relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years internal audit experience, preferably in the construction or engineering services industry with exposure in Big 4 accounting firms.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Knowledge in Tableau or other data analytics tools (e.g. ACL, IDEA, Power BI, etc) will be an advantage.
    • Good organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary colleagues at all levels.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to exercise objective judgment with strong logical and critical thinking skills.
    • Self-motivated team player with a continuous learning attitude, sharing knowledge and ideas within Internal Audit.
    • Positive work attitude, with a high level of commitment and initiative.
    • Good verbal and written business communications with strong report writing and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities and different challenges.
    • Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality.
    • Maintain a high level of integrity and professional standards.
