Job Title: Fitness Mentor

About the Role

This position involves teaching Pilates classes to individuals with varying skill levels, demonstrating exercises and offering personalized instruction.

Responsibilities
  • Determine necessary equipment for classes, such as exercise balls, mats, blocks, straps, resistance bands, and weights.
  • Instruct stretching exercises to enhance flexibility, posture, and cardiovascular health.
  • Ensure safe usage of equipment and proper technique during classes.
  • Schedule classes and communicate with clients regarding class times and cancellations.
  • Monitor students during class to observe form, posture, breathing patterns, technique, and safety precautions.
Key Skills
  • Communication: Explain exercises and routines to clients, respond to inquiries, and provide guidance.
  • Physical Fitness: Assist clients in improving physical fitness, including weight loss, muscle building, and cardiovascular health.
  • Knowledge of Exercises and Routines: Understand the purpose of each exercise and develop routines for students of all skill levels.
  • Patience: Provide support and guidance to new students.
  • Leadership: Guide students through workouts, motivate them, and create a safe environment.
