Financial Modelling Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced financial modelling analyst who is passionate about building and optimising complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of accounting concepts, experience in creating and refining comprehensive financial models, and strong analytical skills with a foundation in Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with team members to create, analyse and optimise complex financial models
  • Develop and refine assumptions, parameters and scenarios under the guidance of Consultants and Managers
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modelling methodologies and tools
  • Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies and results
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a financial analysis role within a recognised advisory practice or large corporate setting
  • A good understanding of accounting concepts
  • An understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models using Excel
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline; a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is beneficial
