Flavorist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to assist our Flavourist in accurately mixing flavour samples within tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring samples meet quality control standards, managing the sweet flavour and ingredient library, and supporting the technical team during sensory tests.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with the Flavourist to create high-quality flavour samples on time.
    • Evaluate samples for consistency and accuracy.
    • Organize and maintain the sweet flavour and ingredient library for easy access.
    • Provide assistance to the technical team during sensory tests and evaluations.
    • Ensure safe disposal of waste materials and maintain a clean work environment.
    • Track and manage lab supplies, including glass bottles and raw materials.
    • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring accurate results and efficiency.
    • Store raw materials at optimal temperatures to preserve their quality.
    • Perform routine lab tests and record results accurately.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification in Chemical Process Technology.
  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures and practices.
  • Prior experience in a related field is highly desirable.
