Job Title: Reading Specialist/English Teacher

My English School is a leading provider of English language education for children. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Reading Specialist/English Teacher to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator to teach English Language to students from Primary 1 to 6. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing young learners to become fluent and confident readers through the 5 Elements of Reading Instruction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English Language to students from Primary 1 to 6
  • Nurture young learners to become fluent and confident readers through the 5 Elements of Reading Instruction
  • Strike a balance between academic progress and learning for life
  • Teach English Language skills, including Receptive Skills, Productive Skills, and Knowledge about the Language
Requirements:
  • Good degree in English/Linguistics or teaching related from a reputable university
  • Ability to express themselves clearly in standard English
  • Love and enjoy working with young learners
  • Initial teaching experience welcomed, but not required
Working Hours:

Applicants should be able to commit to:

  • Weekdays: 2.00pm to 9.20pm (3-days between Monday to Friday)
  • Weekends: 8.45am to 6.35pm (Saturday and Sunday)

The academic calendar of My English School. Teachers should not take leave during course period.
