Social Service Associate

The role of the Social Service Associate involves providing support to clients and caregivers through engaging them in meaningful activities such as cognitive stimulation, structured activities, and other appropriate interventions based on clients' interests. The incumbent will work closely with the Social Worker (Team Lead) and Social Worker/Case Worker in the planning and implementation of these activities, as well as monitoring clients' condition and progress.
\Key responsibilities include conducting intake and referral services, providing administrative or logistical support to the team, coordinating outreach events, and ensuring the smooth running of CREST services. The Social Service Associate may also be involved in staff development, training schedule coordination, data collation, and report submission.
\Required skills and qualifications include a diploma in social services, 1-2 years relevant working experience, and the ability to use email, calendar, shared drives, common software, and smartphone apps. Preferred candidates have experience in the social service sector or mental health sector.
