Job Title: Field Service Technician

A career in data centre operations offers a unique blend of technical expertise and customer focus.

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' facilities by servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities and troubleshoot issues with CRAC/WDS systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with client teams to provide on-site technical support and training.
Client Support & Training:
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to client engineers.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions based on Operations & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and issue resolution.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed service reports after each activity or emergency call.
  • Submit weekly/monthly progress reports highlighting key achievements and challenges.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and filing of service records for traceability.
Requirements:
  • ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance engineering with ACMV/DX systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Practical knowledge of CRAC, WDS, or other critical facility infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of organization.
Work Environment:
  • Frequent site visits and emergency call-outs are an essential part of this role.
  • Closely collaborate with contractors, clients, and site engineers to ensure seamless operations.
