Critical Care Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated veterinary nurse to join our emergency team. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based care to critically ill patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in veterinary nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Admission & Triage: You will be responsible for admitting and triaging emergency patients, prioritizing those in need of immediate attention.
- Critical Care: Forward planning and providing direct patient care for critically ill patients, including performing diagnostics and treatments as needed.
- Anesthesia: Plan and perform anesthesia for ill or unstable patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and concise records of all care information, providing valuable insights into patient outcomes.
- Teamwork: Liaise with staff and clients to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- A minimum of 5 years full-time experience in veterinary general practice post-qualification.
- Certificate IV or diploma in veterinary nursing or equivalent.
- A professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
