About the Role

The General Theater Technician (Casual) position at Singapore American School offers a unique opportunity to provide technical support for various theatrical productions. As part of our theater team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of lighting, AV, and stage management aspects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general lighting, AV, and stage management support across different venues within the school.
  • Collaborate with theater staff in building sets and setting up stages.
  • Support students in gaining experience as technicians and provide feedback to aid their development.
Requirements
  • A high level of understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
  • Competency in basic lighting and AV equipment operation.
  • Able to work safely at heights.
  • Self-starter with strong teamwork skills.
Benefits
  • Casual flex hours with a minimum 4-hour call per shift (paid hourly rate).
