High-Impact Engineering Leadership Role

This strategic position involves guiding a multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of software, hardware, and wireless communications.

  • Coordinate across internal engineering teams and external development partners to build and scale high-performance private wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective software engineering programs across embedded networking, mobile app development, and production automation.
  • Establish clear goals, accountability, and development plans within the first 90 days.
  • Drive delivery of key software project milestones within six months.
  • Ensure tight integration between software and hardware systems.
  • Grow and mentor a high-performing team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven track record leading delivery of embedded or networked systems.
  • Experience shipping hardware products with integrated firmware/software.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill technical context for stakeholders.
  • Process-oriented with proficiency in agile methodologies and modern project management practices.
  • 8+ years in software development, including 3+ years in a people-management role; familiarity with embedded Linux platforms (especially OpenWrt), mobile development lifecycles (Android), and manufacturing tools.
