Role Summary

This role will focus on the analysis of performance KPIs in relation to Par savings and Investment Linked products. As Actuarial Pricing Consultant, you will be responsible for pricing these products, developing pricing frameworks and strategies, negotiating with reinsurers, and obtaining internal and regional product approvals.

You will also apply actuarial technical knowledge in making actual business decisions, support queries pertaining to product features and designs, and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing of Par savings and Investment Linked products
  • Development of pricing frameworks and strategies
  • Negotiation with reinsurers
  • Obtaining internal and regional product approvals

Requirements
  • Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Prophet systems and hands-on experience with actuarial valuation data processing and management
  • Self-motivation and outcome orientation
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with Prophet model and ALS, data processing/conversion software (e.g., SQL/DCS) preferred
Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial roles or positions
  • Good progress in actuarial examinations from a recognized professional actuarial body
  • Degree in Actuarial Science
Language Skills
  • Fluency in English

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
