Job Title: Process Optimization Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives, enhancing product quality, reducing energy consumption, and increasing production rates.
- Coordinate and plan new grade trial runs with R&D and Operations teams, and handle trials and evaluations.
- Troubleshoot plant troubles related to process, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective and preventive measures as part of process engineering function.
- Participate in HAZOP, FMEA, and Control Plan studies as Process Engineering function for safety and quality improvement.
- Oversee process-related capital expenditures projects from conceptual design up to Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and lead assigned projects.
- Study and implement Industry 4.0-related technologies as part of Productivity Improvement Projects.
- Collaborate with other departments in management systems such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, Safety Case regime, Energy Management System, and ISCC Plus.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of working experience in Petrochemical Industries (Senior position requires at least 5 years).
- Familiarity with Process Simulation software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS.
- Familiarity with Distributed Control System (DCS), particularly its logic and sequence modification.
- The ability to multitask and handle a wide spectrum of responsibilities.
