As a leader in the commodities middle office, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team. We are currently partnering with a global investment firm to develop and implement effective processes for trade capture, confirmation, and settlement across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and implement efficient processes for trade management, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
  • You will maintain accurate and transparent records of all trades, including positions, valuations, and payments. Your expertise in risk management and compliance will enable you to mitigate potential risks and optimize business outcomes.
  • Collaboration with the trading desk is crucial to ensure seamless trade execution, from order entry to final settlement. You will work closely with traders to ensure that all trades are accurately captured, confirmed, and settled in a timely manner.
  • Managing risk exposure through real-time monitoring and reporting of market movements and position sizes is a critical aspect of this role. You will use your analytical skills to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Strengthening controls and compliance measures is essential to maintaining a robust and compliant middle office function. You will work closely with other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in commodities middle office or related field is required. You must have demonstrated expertise in trade lifecycle management, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions, are essential. You must be able to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Bloomberg or Reuters, is necessary. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
