Piping Engineer Job Description

This role involves working on innovative modular facility projects for the pharmaceutical sector, with opportunities to contribute to the growth of a newly established company.

  • Oversee pipe construction for Singapore projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement professional pipe construction plans, tracking progress and resolving technical issues.
  • Apply knowledge of Singapore pipe construction codes and government requirements to ensure project compliance.
  • Collaborate with designers to address construction challenges, using tools like Navisworks for detailed analysis.
  • Track procurement and delivery of pipe materials, organizing storage for efficient access during construction.
  • Conduct on-site quality checks to ensure pipe construction meets all required specifications.
  • Prepare essential technical documents, including bidding materials, safety assessments, and construction schemes.
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain proper construction logic and avoid rework.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 7 years in pipe construction site management, with 3+ years in the pharmaceutical industry. Singapore project experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe construction, with BPE sanitary piping experience highly valued.
  • Demonstrated thoughtful decision-making and problem-solving abilities in complex construction scenarios.
  • Familiarity with CAD and Microsoft software to enhance project efficiency.
