Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

At our esteemed organization, we are seeking a skilled and diligent Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an individual with expertise in mechanical systems and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, including chilled water piping, fan coil units, and CRAH units.
  • Installation of control wiring and main power cables for HVAC and ventilation-related equipment.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly internal inspections to identify potential issues and perform generator tests.
  • Scheduled maintenance on data centre HVAC and ventilation systems, including cooling towers, pumps, CRAH units, fan walls, FCUs, condensers, and MV fans.
  • Component cleaning, lubrication of fans, bearings, motors, and pumps, as well as alignment and vibration inspections.
  • Responding to Building Management System (BMS) alarms and supporting operational technicians in alarm resolution and system resets.
  • Maintaining up-to-date asset lists, procedures, inspection records, and capacity reports; preparing annual/monthly maintenance schedules and facilities documentation.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of an Institute of Technical Education (ITE) diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical ventilation, or related building maintenance roles.
  • Hands-on skills with installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical systems.
