Teaching Position

We are seeking a qualified educator to fill the role of Primary Years Class Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and managing a class of students in the primary years.

  • Respect and value each child's unique social, cultural and religious background.
  • Contribute to the management of pastoral care, health, wellbeing and behaviour of all pupils.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in accordance with the school's policies and guidelines.
  • Utilize a range of effective teaching pedagogies and methods to ensure engaging learning experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with grade level teams to develop and teach conceptually driven inquiry based units of learning.
  • Maintain open communication with colleagues regarding student progress and school matters.
  • Ensure equal opportunities for all students.
  • Foster a sense of pride and ownership among students towards their environment.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Education from a recognised institution is required.
  • Teacher Certificate, Diploma or other relevant teaching certification is necessary if the applicant's degree is not in Education.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience in the primary years setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum is an asset.
  • Candidates with MOE experience are encouraged to apply.
