**Fragrance Innovator Role Overview**
This is a creative and challenging role that involves the development of new fragrances, ensuring they meet project specifications and deadlines. Perfumers will refine existing fragrance formulas to align with client briefs, internal quality standards, or address raw material shortages.
The perfumer's key responsibility is sourcing and proposing new raw materials. They will collaborate with sales and marketing teams during customer visits, providing expert support in presentations and technical discussions.
Perfumers will lend their expertise to evaluation panels for new fragrances and raw materials, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality control issues as they arise.
They may also be required to support the training and development of other staff members when needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 6 years experience in the fragrance industry, with expertise in fragrance innovation.
- Experience in consumer fragrances, including home care, personal care, and air care.
- The ability to translate complex GCMS data into market-ready fragrance formulas.
- A refined sense of smell for precise scent evaluation, supported by a technical knowledge base.
- Presentation abilities to articulate creative ideas and technical details clearly to colleagues and clients.
- Experience in a dynamic fragrance development environment.
- International exposure or demonstrated experience operating within international markets is a preferred qualification.
You will be part of a vibrant and diverse team that values collaboration and innovation.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in customer visits with the sales and marketing team, providing expert support in presentations and discussions.
