M&E Coordinator Job Description

Our organization is seeking a diligent M&E Coordinator to support our team in ensuring the successful execution of M&E works on construction projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including site quantity surveyors, consultants, and project managers, to resolve any discrepancies or conflicts.

  • To provide critical information and assist the site quantity surveyor in preparing work-in-progress claims and variation works.
  • To review structural drawings, architectural drawings, and M&E drawings for coordination and resolve any problems that may arise.
  • To ensure that M&E subcontractors receive relevant structural and architectural drawings for their shop drawings and issue any subsequent amendments.
  • To liaise with sub-contractors on discrepancies in their drawings and inform consultants and project managers on a regular basis until issues are resolved.
  • To monitor and control the progress of M&E subcontractors to prevent delays in other trades and vice versa.
  • To coordinate with M&E subcontractors on production of structural penetration drawings and cast-in items and inform project engineers at technical meetings.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent skills in Autodesk Revit, Construction, BIM, Architectural, Drawing, Architectural Drawings, Electrical, Building Services, Project Planning, Surveying, MEP Coordination, Construction Safety, coordination skills, AutoCAD, Team Player, Scheduling, Electrical Engineering, Oral & Written Communication Skills, Ability to Work Independently, Mechanical Engineering.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with building services and MEP coordination.
