About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Analyst to join our team at the Office of Insights & Analytics within Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, processing, and analyzing data to design solutions that address our organization's challenges using data manipulation and Generative AI techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and scope business problems and build data analytics capabilities across clinical services, finance, and operations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and lead translational research projects as required.
  • Facilitate regular key management meetings and reporting.
  • Provide input in the assessment of required analytics tools and software to meet our transformational needs.
  • Support the partnership model with academic institutes and professional bodies to train aspiring data scientists for potential internship positions.
Requirements
  • A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering, or related quantitative disciplines.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Generative AI solutioning, prompt engineering, machine learning modeling (regression, classification, time-series, deep learning, etc.), and optimization.
  • Experience in designing non-trivial data-related technical solutions and deploying them in an actual user setting.
  • Experience in cloud computing and software development methodologies is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Generative AI concepts such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), chunking, Large Language Models (LLM), APIs, and application deployment in the cloud.
  • Proficient in business analysis skills involving requirement gathering, user management, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, HuggingFace, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in SQL, Hadoop/Spark, Graph Database, and related databases.
