Operations Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily clearing, settlement, and risk management processes related to EDX's clearing services.

In this role, you will serve as the front line of resolving Members' clearing related issues, managing risk, and overseeing, refining and running daily operational procedures to ensure the consistent and efficient clearing and settlement of transactions.

As part of a global team, you will work closely with the product and technology teams to define enhancements to the platform and improve the overall Member experience.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining EDX as the most trusted and efficient market and clearinghouse for digital assets.


Responsibilities:
  • Implement and carry out standard operating procedures (SOPs) with diligence to ensure error-free implementation of changes.
  • Provide operational support for trade settlement, digital asset and fiat custody, clearing, settlement, deposits, and withdrawals.
  • Monitor and manage trade lifecycle related to digital asset transactions.
  • Perform trade and asset reconciliation with the firm's clearinghouse, clearing members, and custodians.

Serve as process owner for current functionality and provide critical support and input regarding enhancements to technology, workflows, and processes.

Develop strong understanding of clearinghouse's risk management tools and provide support for related clearing member needs.
