Financial Officer: Managing Financial Tasks

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to manage key financial tasks.

  • Project and budget creation in SAP for approved grants is essential;
  • Review of fund requisitions and final statement of accounts must adhere to grant guidelines;
  • Timely follow up with grantees for disbursements is crucial;
  • Invoice processing and subsequent receipt accounting is vital;
  • Maintenance of fixed assets records, including capitalisation, RFID tagging, verification, and disposal;
  • Preparation of General Ledger, including bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, month end closing, and financial year end closing;
  • Support in internal and external audits, and AGO audits is necessary;
  • Assistance in projects, such as automation and digitalisation projects;
  • Other tasks, including system access administration, routine reporting, goods receipts, and monthly exchange rates;

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or related field is required;
  • Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills are essential;
  • High learning agility and adaptability are necessary;
  • Able to multi-task and deliver results under tight timelines;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications;
  • Experience in SAP, SAP Hana would be advantageous;
