Electromechanical Systems Specialist

About the Role
">We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an integral member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing test routines to improve yields and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and explain test functions to our manufacturing partners
- Support new product development by ensuring designs have been reviewed for manufacturability, testability, and quality
- Work with suppliers to define and implement manufacturing tests for electrical hardware and software
- Monitor product/system tests on site at our manufacturing partners
- Create and maintain test documentation and work with our Factory Software team to debug and troubleshoot new tests
- Reduce test cycle times through process improvement and test optimization
- Support installation and bring up of test related hardware and computers
- Write queries to support manufacturing yield dashboards and data collection
- Assist in developing and updating test documents and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with 5+ years experience
- Demonstrated technical skills, including experience in manufacturing process debug, mechanical design, or process qualification
- Strong programming skills with SQL and Python and experience in developing scripts and tools
- Experience in Linux (Ubuntu)
- Prior experience working with electromechanical products, consumer products, or industrial automation is a plus
- Ability to work in a high dynamic environment and distill ambiguous goals into focused tasks
- Strong English technical communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to solve complicated problems
- Extensive experience working as the direct interface to contract manufacturers with new product introductions is required
- Experience in test methodologies and designing custom fixtures and test equipment for manufacturing end of line testing for electromechanical products is required
