Job Description

As a High-Performance Computing Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our central GPU clusters used for AI training and High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters.

You will advise users on workload execution and optimization strategies, provide support for resources they need, and manage day-to-day operations of the GPU cluster, HPC cluster, distributed storage system, and other associated IT infrastructure.

You will also work with our OEM vendor to troubleshoot and replace parts as needed.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the reliable operation of central GPU clusters used for AI training and HPC clusters
  • Advise users on workload execution and optimization strategies
  • Provide users with the necessary resources and support
  • Manage day-to-day operations of GPU cluster, HPC cluster, distributed storage system, and other associated IT infrastructure
  • Work with OEM vendor to troubleshoot and replace parts as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, experience with HPC scheduling and workload management tools, and experience in managing parallel file systems.

You will also need to be proficient in Python and Bash scripting, have experience with container technologies, and be familiar with monitoring tools.

In addition, you will need to have good knowledge and experience in HPC performance optimization and troubleshooting, and strong programming skills in Python and Bash scripting.
