Commercial Pricing Specialist Role Overview

This role plays a vital part in helping our organization develop and execute effective pricing strategies to drive business growth.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Reviewing tender documents to highlight clients' requirements and preparing cost models to support bid strategies with competitive and profitable pricing.
  • Collaborating with different stakeholders and vendors to propose the best-fit pricing proposal and optimizing different costs to maintain competitiveness.
  • Benchmarking price/cost to provide the best commercial outcome in favor of company directions.
  • Performing revenue & cost management, P&L analysis and cashflow management with different financial and pricing models.
  • Ensuring all the costs are accurately included in the pricing template and translated into customers' pricing templates.
  • Supporting Business Units and internal stakeholders with the preparation of valuations and pricing approvals.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations in all pricing activities.

The commercial impacts of pricing tactics and understanding commercial terms & conditions are also crucial aspects of this role.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Pricing Analyst who can effectively analyze market trends, develop tailored pricing strategies, and optimize pricing models to achieve business objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and intermediate/advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred, and ideally 3+ years of proven professional experience in commercial pricing, financial analysis, and price modeling is required.
