Role Summary

As an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be part of a 12-month program designed to develop cybersecurity talents in the public sector. The program aims to build up cybersecurity capabilities to secure Singapore's digital economy and infrastructure.

The role involves a rigorous curriculum to acquire cybersecurity certifications, followed by job postings in various areas of cybersecurity, including Malware Analysis, Digital Forensics & Incident Response, Emerging Technologies, Penetration Testing, Cybersecurity Solutions and Consultancy, Cybersecurity Operations Centre, Threat Intelligence, and Governance, Risk and Compliance.

You will gain experience on national cybersecurity projects, undergo technical and non-technical courses, and engage with industry players and the public to improve Singapore's cybersecurity posture.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or Cybersecurity
  • Passion for Whole-of-Government cybersecurity
  • Aptitude for cybersecurity and positive learning attitude
  • Strong understanding of network architecture
  • Ability to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Adaptability and innovative problem-solving skills
