Job Title: Technical Expert in Unix/Linux Infrastructure Management

  • The primary role of this position is to ensure the health and stability of technical solutions within the Unix/Linux team. This involves providing BAU support, acting as the last level of escalation point for all production support activities, and collaborating with technical peers on technology roadmaps and projects.">
  • As an expert in Unix/Linux services, you will have control over the scope of technical activities, develop best practices, manage knowledge, and ensure necessary trainings are imparted to the team. You will also be responsible for managing service improvements for all Unix/Linux services supported throughout the organization.">
  • Key responsibilities include animating the team to encourage collaboration and sharing of best practices, supporting new technologies, leveraging them to provide consistency of service across streams, and documenting, reviewing, maintaining, and sharing relevant technical information to the team.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.">
  • Minimum 11 years of experience in managing Unix/Linux environment, with at least 3-5 years of experience in financial institutions.">
  • Subject matter expert on technologies such as Redhat, Solaris, HP-UX, Veritas Geocluster, and MC/Service Guard Cluster.">
  • Hands-on experience with NFS, NIS, LDAP, Centrify, Redhat Satellite, KVM Virtualization, LDOM/OVM, and HPE & Sun-Oracle hardware.">
  • Well-versed in scripting and automation using Ansible, Python, and Bash.">
