Assistant Electrical Design Engineer

TSTAR Recruit Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for an experienced electrical design engineer who can develop and implement innovative solutions for our clients.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop material requisition lists based on project requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Design and plan electrical switchboards, control consoles, and panels according to customer needs and industry standards, utilizing expertise in electrical engineering principles.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including approval drawings, shop drawings, final documentation, short circuit calculations, and instruction manuals for submission to clients and production teams.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and consultants on technical specifications and participate in discussions as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the Sales & Marketing Department on any changes in technical requirements that could impact costs or timelines, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Review and follow up on design and shop drawings with the production teams, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Continuously develop and improve designs for electrical switchboards, control consoles, and panels, prioritizing quality, adherence to standards, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Offer expert technical support and advice to the Sales & Marketing Department to assist in securing contracts, leveraging knowledge and experience to drive business growth.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications, providing a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The salary for this position is estimated at SGD 3,500 per month, plus AWS + VB benefits, offering a competitive remuneration package.
