Laboratory Technologist Position Available

The primary role of a laboratory technician is to collect, sort and process samples for testing. This includes conducting quality checks, documenting results accurately and reporting any deviations or anomalies found.
Key Responsibilities:- Sampling and Testing: Receive, collect and sort samples for analysis, ensuring accurate documentation of test results and prompt reporting of any deviations or anomalies found.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on incoming, in-process and outgoing samples, maintaining records of all results and communicating any issues to the relevant teams.
- Laboratory Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on laboratory equipment, including calibration, validation and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Inventory Management: Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock checks to ensure optimal levels are maintained.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices and experience, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
- NITEC or Diploma in Material Science or Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to work comfortably within a rotating shift environment.
