Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to spearhead our Quality Assurance department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining certifications for our aviation organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in aerospace engineering, and the ability to drive innovation and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, developing and implementing effective technical strategies
  • Provide technical direction for product development, technical support, and certification
  • Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements and obtain approvals from authorities (e.g., CAAS, EASA, FAA) and aircraft manufacturers
  • Drive product management initiatives to achieve greater customer satisfaction, increased productivity, better product quality, and lower manufacturing costs
  • Act as authorized design signatory for certification/design data with major aircraft manufacturers (e.g., Airbus)
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and calculated risk-taking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in aviation R&D, product development, or engineering management
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex projects
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., FAR, EASA, CAAS)
  • Experience with certification processes and design data management
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • International experience or exposure to global aviation markets
