Job Summary:

The Nursing Aide will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services to residents in our Welfare Homes. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Assist doctors and registered nurses in simple procedures and treatments under supervision, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Basic Nursing Procedures: Carry out basic nursing procedures such as wound dressing, documenting, monitoring, and recording observations of residents and their vital signs, and reporting changes in condition to the registered nurse.
  • Personal Care and Support: Supervise and assist residents in their daily needs, including personal grooming and daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Accompaniment and Transportation: Accompany residents for outings and medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Reporting and Communication:

The Nursing Aide will report to the Head Nurse, maintaining open and effective communication to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
  • NITEC in Nursing
  • HMI Institute of Health Sciences' Certificate in Healthcare Support – Patient Care
  • WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services and relevant work experience in nursing care-related services
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
