Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled lawyer to join our global partnerships team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions, payment networks, and technology partners that support our products and services. You will work closely with our product teams to structure, draft, and negotiate key infrastructure deals with financial and technology partners, ensuring that the agreements meet our business objectives and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Your expertise will be essential in advising on complex legal issues, identifying and mitigating risks, and developing practical solutions to drive business growth. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile deals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of our global partnerships strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a qualified lawyer in a law firm, in-house legal team, or government agency, preferably working with financial institutions or technology companies on high-value, strategic transactions.
  • A qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction, with a preference for qualification in the region.
  • Broad legal knowledge that enables you to identify and resolve a variety of legal issues in transactions across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., contract, financial services regulatory, IP, privacy, consumer protection).
  • Strong drafting skills with an ability to identify and communicate practical, risk-based solutions as the lead negotiator and drafter of business-critical agreements.
  • Experience counseling product teams, technical teams, and other non-lawyers on deal structure and its application to their team's goals.
