Job Overview

The role of the Last Mile Delivery Specialist is to oversee and optimize last-mile delivery operations in overseas warehouses across various global markets.

This position requires managing daily last-mile delivery operations from designated overseas warehouses, including order processing, transportation arrangements, routing, status tracking, and exception handling.

Key Responsibilities include monitoring on-time delivery, analyzing causes of delays, and driving improvement actions. Additionally, this role involves managing reverse logistics processes for returned shipments, carrier management, cost optimization, process optimization, customer experience, data analysis, compliance, and risk management.

  • Manage Daily Last-Mile Delivery Operations: Oversee daily last-mile delivery operations from designated overseas warehouses, including order processing, transportation arrangements, routing, status tracking, and exception handling.
  • Monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD): Analyze OTD performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions.
  • Reverse Logistics Management: Manage reverse logistics processes for returned shipments, ensuring efficient and timely resolution.
  • Carrier Management: Understand local last-mile logistics providers and build strong partnerships through carrier selection, negotiation, contract management, KPI evaluation, and performance reviews.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze cost structure and identify opportunities for savings through transportation mode optimization, route planning, and rate negotiations.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve last-mile logistics processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Logistics Management or Supply Chain.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics systems operations or exception handling, with familiarity in ERP/WMS/TMS system logic.
  • Proficiency in Excel/SQL for data analysis and root cause identification.
  • Strong sense of accountability, ability to multitask, and excellent cross-department communication skills.
  • Experience in international logistics workflows and fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
