Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent cleaning skills, be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment. They will also have experience with equipment maintenance, floor care and waste management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting equipment, floors, locker rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment.
  • Ensuring gym equipment is clean and in good working order.
  • Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Emptying trash and recyclables, replacing liners and ensuring waste disposal areas are clean and tidy.
  • Restocking cleaning supplies and paper products as needed.

This is a full-time position requiring a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
