Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Antaes Asia Pte. Ltd. as a Calypso Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Calypso back-office package, as well as supporting the "run the bank" function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development
    • Develop in Java for Calypso v14.4 package.
    • Develop internal components.
  • Incident and Request Management
    • Communicate effectively with business users and other IT teams.
    • Analyse enhancement requests and bug-fixes.

  • Change Management
    • Apply monthly release strategy, following the team's milestones for analysis, coding, and testing.
    • Support the release roadmap in production.
    • Operations management.
    • Application support, level 3 (expert).
    • Troubleshoot and fix issues.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Process improvements.
    • Coach more junior team members as required.
  • Research, Design, and Development
    • Research and design software solutions.
    • Analyse user needs and develop software solutions.
    • Update software, enhance existing software capabilities, and develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
    • Work with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems.
    • Develop specifications and performance requirements.
  • Client Support
    • Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients.
Requirements
  • Education
    • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or related fields.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Calypso developer.
  • Skills
    • Excellent understanding of Java, PL/SQL, and Linux.
    • Experience on Calypso versions higher than v13.
    • Expertise in Calypso Back-office functionality with hands-on experience in customizations of different Calypso modules:

    • In-depth knowledge of Confirmations, Settlement, Position, and Accounting modules.
    • Understanding of financial assets and trade lifecycle.
    • Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
    • Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
    • Hands-on experience in implementation projects.
    • AGILE track record.
    • Experience in GIT, MasterDeploy, SVN, Jenkins, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
    • Dababase: Oracle, Sybase.
    • Experience in implementing NR scenarios.
    • Developing Micro services.
    • Curiosity for new technologies.
    • Willing to do L3 Support if required.
    • Very good communication skills and keen to work with business users.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven ability to work individually under pressure.
    • Autonomous, pro-active, cooperative mindset. Pro-active in security, incident prevention, productivity, and global improvement of the quality of service.
Working Hours

Work in shift for Asia (9:00am – 6:30pm SGT) or (11am – 8pm SGT).

Special week-end operations if required for projects.
