Focal Search Pte. Ltd. seeks a skilled Service Engineer to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine navigation and communication systems on board vessels.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Installing and configuring various marine systems including radar, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, and VHF radios
  • Performing routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and adherence to safety regulations
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations
  • Providing technical support and guidance to crew members on the operation and upkeep of onboard systems
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate installations, upgrades, and repairs as needed

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electrical/electronics engineering, or a related field, along with extensive practical experience in installing, debugging, and maintaining marine communication and navigation systems.
