Electrical Supervisor Role Overview

Our client is a global leader in the Oil & Gas, Marine Offshore Engineering sectors. Due to rapid expansion, they are actively seeking for an Electrical Supervisor.

 

  • Develop and implement electrical works according to schedules and specified targets.
  • Closely work with contractors to maintain material and works quality/standards according to project specifications.
  • Monitor and update daily manpower reports and feedback any lacks.
  • Engage sub-contractors and plan for priority activities in line with sequence of works.
  • Coordinate site work with other trades.
  • Anticipate and monitor possible shortage of materials.
  • E nsure site execution is in line with the plan and according to the sequence of works with proper supervision.
  • Attend weekly sub-con meeting and provide feedback on site problems and assist in finding solutions.
  • Guide and help sub-contractors on the details of the works.
  • Supervise and monitor every aspect of the status and progress of the works.
  • Prepare and update weekly progress reports and submit to planning department.
  • Be responsible for clearance of both in-house and clients punch list.
  • Prepare request for inspection according to approved ITP.
  • Direct involvement and support of safety controls to workers at all times.
  • Active participation in safety programs and implementation (Attendance at daily Tool Box Meeting and VSCC)

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving electrical and instrument supervision works.
