About the Role:

  • Provide expert-level support to front office teams, ensuring seamless account opening, review, and transaction documentation processes.
  • Develop and implement Anti-Money Laundering (AML) control strategies to optimize account opening and underwriting opportunities.
  • Implement operational management and internal control measures within the business unit.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate business plans and develop sales management reports.
  • Offer backup support to team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of AML policies and procedures.
  • Perform thorough client due diligence and on-boarding checks.
  • Work closely with front office and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement robust risk management control policies and procedures.

About You:

  • You hold a degree in Finance, Banking, or a related field.
  • You have at least 5 years of banking experience in compliance, risk management, and operations.
  • You possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), specifically in client onboarding, ongoing reviews, and transactions monitoring within a Private Banking setting.
  • You are familiar with MAS 626 requirements or international AML/CFT standards.
  • You have a strong understanding of risk management principles for private banking, investment, and credit products, as well as delivery channels.
  • You have knowledge of relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
