Job Title

Seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Credit Approval Specialist.

This is a mid-senior level finance role in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience and good knowledge of lending to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read credit approvals and note all required clauses for drafting of Letter of Offer (LO)
  • Perform system enquiries to verify the information in credit approvals
  • Draft LO as a maker together with the required attachments (e.g., Board Resolutions, Fire Insurance forms, etc.) for checking by checkers
  • Liaise with Relationship Managers on matters relating to drafting of LO / letters
  • Progress to become checker to review draft LO prepared by makers
  • Assist in preparing or checking reports
  • Assist in other administrative duties assigned by the Team Leader and/or Division Head
Requirements
  • A recognized tertiary education
  • Meticulous with good organizational / planning skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
