Inspection Specialist

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing surveillance inspections to ensure that construction work meets project-specific quality requirements.

  • Perform regular inspections of in-process and final worksites to verify compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect welds, piping, and other critical components to identify potential defects or non-conformities.
  • Verify inspection and testing plans are implemented as per approved procedures.
  • Document and record inspection results, including any defects or non-conformities found.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality control processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of valid Welding Inspector certifications (AWS or CSWIP).
  • Experience in piping line walk, reinstatement inspections by clear understanding of Isometric drawings.
  • Ability to analyze complex engineering data and make sound judgments.
