About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance and Regulatory Expert to join our team at Sea. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in compliance risk management and regulatory analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Compliance and Regulatory Management in overseeing compliance risk management, strategic compliance projects, and managing compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement effective compliance strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with local compliance teams to assess the impact of regulations on operations and mitigate their effect on the business.
- Monitor key compliance metrics, including financial crime, compliance headcount attrition, audit findings, regulatory actions, and high-risk customers.
- Prepare updates and internal metrics for monthly management reporting, showcasing the effectiveness of compliance initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key regulatory authorities in the region, fostering open communication and cooperation.
- Support the development of group policies, presentations, and memos for internal or external meetings as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CRCM, CCEP, CAMS) is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in regional programmatic and operational Compliance, with expertise in regulator engagement and a focus on regional or international compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
- Prior experience in compliance risk management and compliance project management is advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion, with the ability to communicate and relate at all levels of the company.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation Package:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
