Job Title: Senior Contract Administrator
Contract Administration Specialist Job Description:The primary function of this role is to oversee the full spectrum of contract administration activities, encompassing contract management from pre-award to post-award stages, including accurate record-keeping.
- Manage contract administration, progress payments, variation orders, claims, and final accounts
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, manage cost changes, and generate regular cost reports
- Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients to resolve contractual matters and disputes
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in a senior or managerial capacity within the construction industry
- Experience in handling contractual issues on medium to large-scale or public sector projects
You will possess strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A team player with a proactive, hands-on approach is essential for this role.
This position requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to maintain accurate records, track contractual obligations, and monitor project budgets effectively.
The Contracts Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in ensuring that contracts are administered efficiently and effectively, and that all contractual obligations are met.
