Job Overview

As a Crewing Superintendent, you will lead and mentor a team of professionals to ensure operational excellence in crew management. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of Crewing Superintendents and Operators to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitoring vessel manning levels to ensure compliance with safe manning regulations and company standards.
  • Ensuring all seafarers hold valid certifications, training, and medical clearances in line with international and national maritime regulations.
  • Managing and coordinating crew changes, including agreements, travel arrangements, and visas.
  • Overseeing crew performance and supporting cadet development to meet operational needs.
  • Driving recruitment efforts for open positions and promoting seafarer career development and progression.
  • Implementing and maintaining the company's Management System, contributing to updates, improvements, and compliance initiatives.


Requirements

Key requirements include:

  • Seagoing experience as an officer or a university degree with at least 3 years' experience as a Crewing Superintendent.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of international and national maritime regulations, including MLC and Flag State requirements.
