Job Description: As a seasoned In-House Counsel, you will be responsible for providing high-level legal advice and solutions across various areas. This includes contract law, intellectual property, corporate governance, criminal law, employment, family law, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping the organization navigate complex legal matters and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prosecution
    • Lead the prosecution of statutory offenses from mentions to full trials, addressing legal matters related to enforcement and investigations.
    • Support policy development by conducting thorough legal analysis, advising on legislative changes, drafting amendments, and coordinating with relevant government agencies.
  • Legal Document Drafting
    • Draft, review, and advise on a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, MOUs, terms and conditions, and agreements pertaining to IT, construction, investments, real estate, and non-disclosure.
  • Expert Legal Education
    • Deliver expert legal education and contribute to innovative legal initiatives, promoting awareness and supporting forward-thinking projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in law, with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in either private practice or an in-house legal role. Prosecution experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong candidates without such experience will be considered, with relevant training provided.
