Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced threat detection engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cyber operations team, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and mitigating cyber threats by developing and optimizing detection mechanisms.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in threat detection engineering and security monitoring tools. You will work closely with threat analysts to create actionable detection methodologies and stay current with the latest threat intelligence and security trends.

You will design and implement security automation workflows on SOAR to enhance threat response efficiency and collaborate with regulators and government agencies on cyber operations projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize detection mechanisms to identify and mitigate cyber threats
  • Work closely with threat analysts to create actionable detection methodologies
  • Design and implement security automation workflows on SOAR
  • Collaborate with regulators and government agencies on cyber operations projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a SOC or similar environment
  • At least 3 years of experience in threat detection engineering
  • Proficiency in threat detection engineering, security monitoring tools, threat analysis and defense, threat detection and response
  • Degree or higher in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant fields
  • Professional security management certifications such as CISSP, SANS, or equivalent
