Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team on a direct 2-year contract. This role involves deploying, configuring and managing on-premises Kubernetes clusters and HCI infrastructure such as OpenShift and Nutanix.

The successful candidate will have experience with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals, as well as proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters and HCI infrastructure
  • Support day-to-day operations including platform monitoring, performance tuning, logging and capacity planning
  • Integrate with core IT services including networking, storage, identity management and backup
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Ansible and Terraform
  • Manage workloads across Kubernetes, VMs and containers ensuring high availability, security and reliability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform
  • Understanding of container orchestration, service mesh, persistent storage and networking in Kubernetes environments
  • Strong scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting
