Bakery Position

We are seeking an experienced Baker to support our expansion plan in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and be able to work effectively as part of a team. The role requires the ability to perform standing jobs for extended periods and commit to working overtime when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef in preparing and baking muffins, ensuring high-quality products and adhering to Halal standards.
  • Support MUIS or consultant in Halal compliance checks, maintaining optimal food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Conduct inventory checks, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure efficient housekeeping practices.
  • Assist with counter sales of muffins, providing excellent customer service and promoting the bakery's products.
  • Participate in pop-up stalls at malls as required, effectively representing the bakery and engaging with customers.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Food & Hygiene Certificate, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of food safety and handling regulations.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform standing jobs for extended periods and commit to working overtime when necessary.

  • Sales and Marketing: Excellent customer service skills, ability to promote products, and drive sales growth.
  • Food Safety and Handling: Comprehensive knowledge of food safety principles, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Effective management of stock levels, ordering, and restocking procedures.
  • Compliance and Quality Control: Strict adherence to Halal standards, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements.
