Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer at Activate Interactive, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that span both front-end and back-end technologies. You will collaborate closely with our customers and cross-functional teams, comprising Software Engineers, DevOps Specialists, Data Analysts/Scientists, to deliver user-friendly applications that enhance developer experiences and accelerate application delivery using our runtime platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications utilizing modern front-end frameworks and back-end technologies.
  • Integrate third-party APIs to elevate the functionality and user experience of our applications.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard user data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Optimize the application deployment cycle by enhancing application design and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with Development, Platform, and Product Management teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and secondary SRE-role rotation to deepen your understanding of our runtime platform.

Requirements

We seek a skilled Full Stack Developer who possesses:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, preferably with expertise in containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Next.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience in DevOps.
  • A strong understanding of back-end technologies including Node.js, Express, Python, or Go.
  • Solid knowledge of Git, RESTful APIs, and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with developing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or PaaS platforms (Vercel, OpenShift, Heroku, or similar offerings).
  • Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar offerings from cloud providers.
  • Experience with microservices architecture or serverless computing is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with runtime technologies (ECS, Lambda), and infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi, Terraform) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, and CI/CD (e.g. GitLab CI/CD, Github Action) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with implementing AI/ML-based applications, BI solutions, data warehouses, analytics, or visualization is a plus.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solutions Architect is a plus.
  • A Pass in ICT Assessment Certification for Solution Architect or Software Developer by NUS-ISS is strongly preferred.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position ranges from SGD 120,000 to SGD 180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
